This notice informs you about the processing of your personal data when visiting the demo website fairlane.legal. It complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC together with the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG), and the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection in force since 1 September 2023 (revFADP) with its implementing ordinance.

3. Purpose and scope of the demo
This site serves presentation purposes only. It processes no client data, no case data, and represents no legal practice. Inputs in the sign-in or invitation forms are not transmitted to any server — processing happens locally in your browser only.
4. Data processed when visiting
Mere visits trigger technically necessary processing under Art. 6 (1) f GDPR · § 25 (2) TTDSG · Art. 31 (2) lit. b revFADP:
- IP address (anonymised after 7 days)
- Date and time of access
- Browser type and version, OS
- Referrer URL (if transmitted)
- Bytes transferred and status code
This data is used solely for operations, attack defence and anonymised reach statistics. It is not combined with other sources.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage without consent (§ 25 (2) TTDSG, Art. 6 (1) f GDPR). Optional cookies are set only after your explicit, informed consent — equally weighted with the rejection option (cf. CJEU C-673/17 "Planet49", BGH I ZR 7/16, EDPB Guidelines 03/2022).
- Necessary: fl-lang (language), fl-cookie-consent-v3 (consent record)
- Functional: only with consent — language, recently opened case
- Analytics: only with consent — cookieless Plausible/Matomo, IP-truncated, no profiling
- Marketing: currently disabled — would be used only with EU/CH providers under opt-in
Your consent is recorded with timestamp, version and hash. Withdraw at any time via the footer "Cookie settings" link — effective for the future.
6. Embedded third-party resources
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — delivers Hanken Grotesk, Fraunces, JetBrains Mono. Legal basis Art. 6 (1) f GDPR. Note: your IP is transmitted to Google. We will self-host fonts in production.
No transfer to third countries without an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards (Art. 44 ff. GDPR) once the demo enters production.
7. Fairlane Assistant chat
The embedded chat assistant runs fully in your browser. Inputs are not transmitted, logged or stored. Replies are picked from a static knowledge base.
8. Sign-in and invitation forms
Inputs in the sign-in form on Chapter VI and the invitation form are demo-only: no data is stored, no e-mail sent, no account created.
9. Hosting
The site is hosted in a Swiss data centre. No third-country transfer under Art. 44 ff. GDPR or Art. 16 ff. revFADP.
10. Retention
Server logs are deleted or anonymised after at most 30 days. Cookies and localStorage values can be cleared through your browser at any time or via the cookie settings.

Diese Website dient ausschließlich Präsentationszwecken. Sie verarbeitet keine Mandatsdaten, keine Falldaten und stellt keine Anwaltstätigkeit dar. Eingaben in das Login- oder Einladungsformular werden nicht an einen Server übermittelt — die Verarbeitung findet ausschließlich lokal in Ihrem Browser statt.

Der eingebettete Chat-Assistent läuft vollständig lokal in Ihrem Browser. Eingaben werden nicht übermittelt, nicht protokolliert und nicht gespeichert.
8. Login- und Einladungsformular
Eingaben in das Login-Formular auf Kapitel VI sowie in das Einladungsformular sind in der Demo folgenlos: Es werden keine Daten gespeichert, keine E-Mails versendet und keine Konten angelegt.
9. Hosting
Die Website wird in einem Schweizer Rechenzentrum gehostet. Es findet keine Übermittlung in Drittländer i.S.v. Art. 44 ff. DSGVO oder Art. 16 ff. revDSG statt.
10. Speicherdauer
Server-Logs werden nach maximal 30 Tagen gelöscht oder anonymisiert. Im Browser gespeicherte Cookies können Sie jederzeit über die Browser-Einstellungen oder die Cookie-Einstellungen löschen.
